A crane is chosen not by the weight of the load alone but by calculating weight and reach together. At the site entrance, power lines, trees and slope are checked. The unloading area is cleared in advance, and materials are stacked so they do not sit directly on the ground.

- 2Vehicle and crane accessWhether a truck and crane can get in, road width and maneuvering space determine how the shipment is made. Narrow or steep roads should be reported in advance.
- 3Scope and responsibilityCheck in the written quote which items cover transport, unloading, insurance and crew costs. Costs that vary by location are stated separately.
